hey gang ian here back at ya with a brand new episode, albeit a week late. sorry bout that, technical difficulties made this one hard to get out but we're here and we're doin it folks.
on this weeks episode i bring on my pal dan st. germain who has an extensive list of credits he would love me to write down but i won't give him the satisfaction - but what i WILL say is he has a great new stand up album out that you should go buy called "no real winners" here. dan's one of my favorite stand ups and we have a good time shootin the shit at his apartment in the east village.
thanks for listenin!
buy dan's album here:
Hey gang, i spent the weekend in a cabin alone in the woods and i'm here to tell ya the tale. it was incredible and i cant wait to do it again. it was like a mushroom trip without the mushrooms, can ya believe it?
i call gail to tell her about it, she warns me of ticks in the woods and then we get a visit from Terry The Tick. what fun!
listen every week to siriusXM comedy central radio "you up? with nikki glaser"
and come see me open for dan st. germain this weekend in boston
hey gang killer episode this week if i do say so myself! more stories from DC & i tried to eat pussy to fugazi and it went exactly as it sounds.
also i talk to my old pal jon nean, who plays guitar in BLACKLISTED, an american punk rock band from philadelphia, pennsylvania. it's my favorite talk i've had with someone on an episode so far. maybe it's because blacklisted is one of my favorite bands, or maybe because it's just that good of a talk. gotta listen to find out, hombres!
blacklisted's album "when people grow, people go"
whats up everybody what an episode i have for ya this week! i wanna give a shoutout to DELTA for being pieces of shit, but i also wanna send love to washington, dc for being amazing - i forgot to mention i ate ben's chili, was surprised with a visit to the lincoln memorial at the end of the night and skanked on the stairs of the lincoln memorial to the specials at 3am. it was truly magical. almost as magical as my guest this week - ethan fixell.
ethan is a rad dude who started out in punk/hardcore/metal bands, then got into comedy, then go into writing about beer, then got into being the executive director at Kerrang! magazine. insane! listen to our chat as we solve the world's problems and have fun while doing it.

hooooly hell folks i'm tired! this is a fun one but boy could i use a nap! i update ya on my patreon rewards (http://www.patreon.com/ianfidance) and then get right into continuing my talk with the fascinating Luis Calderin, who worked on Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign. he traveled the country talking to real american's about real america and found that just because you look a certain way, live in a certain area, or check a certain box on a ballot, it doesn't necessarily make you a bad person.
this time we get more into politics, the benefits of a Bernie seed being planted in our national psyche, what we have to do to make things better, and why a positive mental attitude & true untapped empathy will be the answer for our future.
thanks so much for listenin! really appreciate it. come see me live!
